Figurine de lemn – Căsuță din satul românesc

În casă lemnele trosneau în sobă, fumul ieșea misterios pe horn, femeia țintuia sacrul în cusătura iei, bărbatul cioplea clipe de viață, iar copii veseli zornăiau destine noi.  Crâmpeie de suflet animau formele și dădeau caselor aspect specific fiecarei zone. Armonia omului cu natura, căutarea echilibrului țăranul român o exprima în tot ceea ce făcea.

In the house the wood crackling in the stove, the smoke coming out mysterious of the chimney, the woman nailed the sacred in her sewing; the man was carving moments of life and cheerful children rattling new destinies. Shreds of soul animated forms and gave houses the specific aspect of each area. The harmony of man with nature, a quest for balance that Romanian peasant expresses in everything he did.
