Ţăranii nu ştiu vorbi. Ei îşi pun sufletul în tot ce au în jur, aşa se bucură.
Pentru a fi pavăză împotriva relelor țăranii foloseau imaginea Florii vieții, un semn aproape nelipsit din zonele de hotar care despart spațiile esențiale.De aceea îl vedem negreșit pe obiectele importante: pe poartă, pe ușa casei sau a bisericii, pe lada de zestre, pe fus etc.
Bătrânii cu ochii spiritului încă deschiși, puteau vedea rolul protector din spatele acestui semn.

The Flower of Life
The peasants don’t know how to twist words. They put their soul into everything they have around, and so they enjoy.
As protection against evil’s forces, peasants used the image o the Flower of Life, a sign almost always present in border areas separating essential spaces.That’s why we see it on important objects: on the front door of the house or of the church, on the dowry coffer, on the rod etc.
The elders, with the eyes of the spirit still open, could see the protective role behind this sign.
