Ţăranii nu ştiu vorbi. Ei îşi pun sufletul în tot ce au în jur, aşa se bucură. Am scos şi pentru voi pe această traistă motivul Florii vieții.
Pentru a fi pavăză împotriva relelor țăranii foloseau imaginea Florii vieții, un semn aproape nelipsit din zonele de hotar care despart spațiile esențiale. De aceea îl vedem negreșit pe obiectele importante: pe poartă, pe ușa casei sau a bisericii, pe lada de zestre, pe fus etc.
Bătrânii cu ochii spiritului încă deschiși, puteau vedea rolul protector din spatele acestui semn.
