Venit din vechime, din vremurile când amintirea începuturilor era încă vie, acest motiv s-a păstrat până azi penetrând veacurile datorită oltenilor, mari păstrători şi apărători ai tradiţiei.
Două jumătăţi, două emisfere care prin transfer de energie, informaţii, fluide şi materie creează un întreg. Această formă nou creată evoluează şi în spirit formând o amprentă fină imaterială.
Oltenii pun acest simbol pe veşminte pentru protecţie. Mai mult decât atât, ei transferă în zilele noastre amintirea traiului moral al străbunilor care acordau importanţa atât lumii materiale cât şi spirituale şi a cărui scop final era înălţarea în duh.
